Our family had a truly wonderful Pesach experience at the Gan Eden Pesach Program in San Pedro. The hotel’s location right on the marina created a beautiful and relaxing setting and we especially appreciated the scenic views throughout Yom Tov. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. There was a diverse group of guests and it was impressive to see how naturally everyone connected and enjoyed each other’s company. We got to meet so many wonderful people that we look forward to staying in touch with! Thank you David Yerushalmy, Rabbi Pinny & Helena Herman and the entire dedicated staff for all the hard work that went into making the program such a success. We had an amazing time!

This was our third time at this program, and by far, the best year ever. Everything ran smoothly, with great support staff, including very competent wait- staff. There were plentiful shiurim for men and women, delicious, healthy food, great entertainment, ocean views, and the most heimish atmosphere. Iy”H, we’ll be back!

This was our 3rd or 4th time in Gan Eden Pesach at the Pierpont lodge in Ventura, and one of the nicest things about it is the heimishe atmosphere where everyone feels like family. The support staff, particularly the Gelfman family, were phenomenal. All the Rabbis were inspiring, as was Dr. Ganjian who spoke on family relationships and answered related medical questions. 3 awesome lectures on the teachings of Kabbala and Chassidus was given by Rochel Udkof, a super talented and incredibly knowledgable young woman in the mystical side of Torah, who blew our minds and fed our souls. We also had a couple of beautiful and meaningful farbrengens, one led by Zohar Sasson and one by Suri Levilev, 2 more women steeped in Chassidus. And listening to shiurim, farbrenging and davening in a shul room (not to mention our own room) with a view of the ocean, greatly enhanced our experience. The entertainment as well was enjoyed by all. A big yasher koach to the director of the Pesach program David Yerushalmi, and as we all said at the conclusion of the Seder…L’Shana Ha’Ba B’Yerushalayim!

Enjoyed my Pesach very much here this year, materially and spiritually. Definitely recommend.

What a fantastic Pesach! Had a lovely room with a patio overlooking the ocean, and our dog was even welcome (though not at the Seder table)! Undoubtedly, the word for this program is heimishe. We made good friends at tables of our choosing, and changed tables as we wished. Meals were family style and leisurely. No one rushes you here! Food was good and plentiful. My favorite of all was the Tuna Steak, offered as an appetizer, but a main course for me! (We’ve been to fancy programs where literally tons of fine food are wasted. Terrible!) Minyanim, shiurim & lectures were solid. Staff was wonderful. Reb Dovid Yerushalmi is a great host. Very accommodating. Wait staff were great! Looking forward to next year!

Excellent program. We had the pleasure attending on five different occasions. Each time it was a great experience. David consistently goes over and beyond pleasing his guests for which my wife and I are grateful. Highly recommend

This was a very nice program with great food, warmth and friendliness and close-knit atmosphere. Rabbi Yerushalmi did a wonderful job along with all of the participants!

It was a beautiful location, wonderful accommodations, great sheurim and Rabbi. We were close to Santa Barbara and had lost to do on Chol hamoed

This program is truly something special! The wait staff, the director, and the chef & kitchen staff go way beyond what they are capable of to give everyone the food/diet they request. I am sure they all need a month to recover! The program is excellent, with inspiration from Rabbi Sperlin of Los Angles. This year there were outdoor yoga classes for women that were awesome. In addition, a number of other classes were given that inspired us, as well as deeply moving personal stories told to the entire olam on shivi’i shel Pesach, the seventh night of Pesach. It was a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Ventura, CA, beaches. The food was plentiful and delicious, and, as I mentioned, the staff worked overtime and then some to satisfy a diverse crowd with many unusual dietary needs. I commend them and wonder how they did this. We had the use of the entire hotel, so switching rooms when needed was easy and allowed everyone to feel relaxed. As a result, the participants enjoyed getting to know each other in this environment and felt very at home. Kudos to Director Dovid Yerushalmi, that worked morning, noon and night to keep everything going, to Rus Devorah Wallen, the program director that did a wonderful job, and to all the other staff.

The Gan Eden Pesach 2022 Program in Ventura, California, organized by Rabbi David Yerushalmi and his affiliates, was superb in every respect. The accommodations, cuisine, service, learning programs, and recreational activities were managed flawlessly. I look forward to enjoying, and participating in, future Gan Eden Pesach Programs.

We went after the Seders and spent the whole week there. It was awesome. The kids made a lot of friends and went off with them. The whole place is like one big Pesach camp so we felt safe letting them roam. It gave us a chance to relax, go to the beach and attend some interesting talks. The people were really nice, from all over. The food was good and definitely plentiful. We had lunches packed for us so we could go out during the day. Lots to do in that area- I would recommend visiting Santa Barbara for a few days. Looking forward to next year thanks!

Pesach in Gan Eden is a Heimish Program! We have participated several times and we love it! The people are SO nice. The waiters are great. The children are happy and occupied each day. I loved walking on the beach and breathing in the exquisite coastal air. The food was fresh and there were many healthy options to choose from. Thank you to David Yerushalmi and the organizers. Mom and I are coming back next year, EH!

I have been to this program for the past 4 years. It’s Chabad minhagim and personally, the food is very good. There are programs for the children every day and family entertainment at night during Chol HaMoed. Separate swimming. They will pack meals for people who are going on a day trip.

This was a great program! The hotel was quaint and staff very helpful. He director spared no effort to provide a great program with an amazing chef. I understand he has a successful eatery in Pico and I am hardly surprised. The food was delicious and almost always an abundance of such items as short ribs or grilled salmon at every meal. Not sure how the program made a profit based on the expensive items served at each meal for main course. The crowd was friendly and erudite. I recommend this program all around.

The hotel was very good, could get some renovations in the rooms. The food was amazing, following chabad minhaguim, really nice options very tasty!! Services were also very good and the organizer David gives you the best possible attention for you to feel very comfortable. Would recommend it to everyone specially if you follow chabad.

I came with my family on a Monday of chol hamoed till the end 🙂 I wanna say that I loved the hotel, we had a room overlooking the pool. My kids really enjoyed swimming with their family and friends. The food was yummy, I thought it was very healthy, first pessach that I didn’t have a stomach ache. The kids program could’ve been better but overall my kids had such a great time socially that it ended up being good.
